Scourge combines the pyrethroid resmethrin with PBO to produce an insecticide that causes fast knockdown and death with no "biting frenzy" and a residual that's measured in minutes, not weeks. Since Scourge is non-corrosive, it won't damage spray equipment or the paintwork of cars or planes. In sub-lethal doses it causes mosquitoes to lose some or all of their legs, inhibiting their flying, feeding and mating abilities.
As a concentrate, Scourge 18%+54% can be readily diluted in light mineral oil, soybean oil or other suitable solvent or diluent. The ready-to-use formulation is Scourge 4%+12%. Both are federally registered for ground and aerial applications and have no setback from water.
