Formulation/Packaging: Sevin is available in two easy-to-use formulations: soluble liquid (SL) and water soluble packets (80 WSP). Sevin SL is a liquid formulation containing 4 pounds carbaryl per gallon packaged in 1-gallon containers. Sevin 80 WSP consists of pre-measured water-soluble packets containing 80 percent active carbaryl that dissolve when dropped into water. This convenient packaging minimizes worker exposure and eliminates measuring and disposal hassles.

Application Tips

• With many regularly used organophosphate products (such as DURSBAN^® and Diazinon^®) no longer available, more people are turning to SEVIN^® as an effective replacement as it provides control of a broad spectrum of insects economically. Sevin was first introduced in 1956. Two distinct qualities have made it the most popular carbamate: its very low mammalian oral and dermal toxicity and an exceptionally broad spectrum of insect control. Because of these qualities and many other benefits, Sevin is an excellent choice for OP replacement.
• Unlike other synthetic pyrethroides, Sevin is unaffected by temperature or extreme weather. So use it any time, in any season. Often, Sevin provides at least two weeks’ residual insect control from a single application, even in harsh conditions.
